The Pittsburgh Vengeance took on the Toledo Cherokee for the second year in a row with a USPHL Nationals bid at stake. This time around it was the Cherokee that delivered the eliminating blow to Pittsburgh by the scores of 7-1 and 3-1. Pittsburgh never got on track starting with road opener in Toledo Friday night and spilling over to Saturday at home in Pittsburgh. "We fell short of our goal as a team and an organization,' said General Manager David Dorsey. "Toledo is a very good hockey team and they deserved to advance," added Dorsey after game two in Pittsburgh. The Pittsburgh Vengeance would like to thank all the players and families that made this trying season(Covid-19) a huge success both on and off the ice.
