The Pittsburgh Vengeance are proud to announce that goaltender Jacob Zab has committed to play college hockey next season with the University of Nebraska Omaha Mavericks. The Mavericks are a Division I team that participates in the National Collegiate Hockey Conference. Zab, a three member of the Pittsburgh Premier team posted a 2.31 goals against average and a .917 save percentage in the 18/19 season.
"The Vengeance staff are so proud of Jacob because he's such a quality kid that worked his tail off and battled for everything he got during his time here," said General Manager David Dorsey. "Our goaltender coach, Shane Clifford played a significant role in Zab's development as a goaltender, so this a huge deal for him also."
