Vengeance U18 and U16 Sweep Rochester NJPHL

Both Vengeance minor programs went to Rochester last weekend and came home without a loss to their names.


The U18 team played their first Friday game against the Metro Jets, winning 3-0, in what would be their tightest game of the showcase. The Vengeance went on to beat the Cleveland Lumberjacks 11-2, topped the Lansing Spartans 9-2, and sent the Northwest Chargers home with a 7-0 score in the last game of the weekend. The U18 team has compiled a 14-6-2-1 record to date, going 8-0 in NJPHL play.


The Vengeance U16 team opened up the showcase Friday morning, beating the Metro Jr Jets – Red 8-2. Their evening game against the Atlanta Knights finished up 5-3. Saturday morning’s contest against the Metro Jr Jets – Red  ended 4-1, and the Vengeance wrapped up the showcase with a 5-2 win over the Cleveland Lumberjacks. The U16 record improved to 19-6-1, 10-2 in NJPHL showcases.


The minor teams combined to outscore opponents 52-14 in a very successful weekend for the Vengeance program. The next NJPHL Showcase takes place December 9/10 at the Center Ice Arena in Delmont, PA.
