The Pittsburgh Vengeance began preparing for the upcoming 2015-16 season with their first practice on Tuesday, August 4. After the Vengeance Pre-Draft Skate back in May and an earlier Open Tryout, the field was paired down to just 38 players in attendance at the Final Camp, with everyone vying for one of 25 spots.
The Camp was tough and led to some very difficult decisions for the coaching staff. "We had a couple pleasant surprises at the Final Camp from some young guys that forced our hands," said Coach Dorsey.
With just a few returning veterans, the new team will practice for a month and complete in a grueling four-day dry land training program before they Open at home on Labor Day weekend against the Cincinnati Thunder.
