Vengeance exchange home games with Express

After a month practicing four days a week, The Pittsburgh Vengeance are ready to kick off the 2014/15 season.  They’ll take their game on the road to Jamestown, N.Y. opposite the newly formed Southern Tier Express hockey team.  "It's always a challenge playing a new team in their building for the first time and I expect this to be no different for us," said Coach Dorsey. "Southern Tier is going to be a very good team and is well coached, so this will be an uphill battle for us," Dorsey added.

The Pittsburgh Vengeance will follow up their road trip to Jamestown with their own Home Opener on Sunday, September 7th back on home ice at the Harmar Arena against the same Express team.

In other news, the Coach Dorsey announced his Team Leaders for the season with returning veteran Michael Straub named as Team Captain and Alternate Captains Eli Lynn, Brooks Antill and Cody Black (all returning vets).

"I'm blessed to have a great group of leaders back and more importantly fine young men," stated Coach Dorsey. "We also expect a lot out of our other returning players including Jake Parry, Gavin Cummings, Gus Peponidis, Tyler Speis, Brennan Osen, Dom Glavach and Brennan Conway," added Dorsey. "Our mission this year is to compete hard every night and to make the other team earn it if they're going to beat us," said Dorsey.
