In the second, Weinrich finally put the Cherokee on the board with a goal at 19:30 with a helper from Snyder.
In the third period, Glavach answered for the Vengeance with a goal at 8:12 with assists from Oslick and Friedman.
Pittsburgh’s victory was in no doubt helped out by Shell as he stopped 21 of the 22 shots he faced. Shell’s counterpart, Brouilette, also had a big night, managing to stop 45 of 48, but ultimately fell short.
This win brings the Pittsburgh Vengeance’s record to (35-21-5-0).
