The Pittsburgh Vengeance's offense had a big night, peppering the Niagara Falls PowerHawks with 52 shots throughout the game. The Pittsburgh Vengeance took the lead late in the first on a goal from Devin Whitaker and never looked back.
During the first, Zach Servidio opened the scoring for Pittsburgh with a goal at 12:25 with helpers from his teammates Soderberg and Polster. Polster was originally credited with the goal. Whitaker netted what turned out to be the game winning goal at 16:20 with assists from his linemates, Kubasek and Bates.
During the second, Logar finally put the PowerHawks on the board with a goal at 17:00 with a helper from Bodami. Martz quickly followed with a goal at 18:12 with an assist from fellow Vengeance forward Friedman.
In the third, Glavach netted a goal at 11:38 with helpers from Mezsargs and Oslick.
Pittsburgh's victory was in no doubt helped out by De Simone as he stopped 24 of the 25 shots he faced. De Simone's counterpart, Augustine, also had a big night, managing to stop 48 of 52, but ultimately fell short.
This win brings the Pittsburgh Vengeance's record to (20-6-0-0).
