Split Decision in Buffalo

After Weeks of Practice, the boys finally see some action.

The Junior Selects opened the season in Buffalo gaining a four game split with two Continental hockey foes.

The Pens won game one in a wild one that included 16 goals being lighted up on the score board.- Coach Stuber notched his First win-

The game featured twelve different Pens being etched on the score sheet and highlighted by Bryan Hovanecs Hat trick-

Game two saw plenty of the rough stuff as the game got chippy. The Pens got plenty of work on the penalty kill as they were shorthanded thirty three minutes- Luke Pankowsi lit the lamp twice for the Pens as they suffered a 7-4 loss

Game Three saw a return to the Pens winning ways as Ryan Heltion posted a shut out, Bryan Hovanec and Andrew Pawloski netted two goals-

Game four saw the Pens tally first but then saw the Buffalo Stars overcome them and coast to a 6-2 victory-

The team experienced a taste of Junior hockey and learned what it will take to be successful in the upcoming season in the Continental Hockey league
