Pittsburgh survived a determined comeback attempt by Wooster on the way to a 3-2 win.
Connor Ackerman had a great game for Pittsburgh, netting two goals. Ackerman found the back of the net 16:15 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Pittsburgh and again while short handed 19:56 into the second to make the score 2-0 Pittsburgh.

Wooster\’s penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four Pittsburgh power plays. Wooster kept Pittsburgh\’s goalie busy throughout the game, and Marcus Gloss made 42 saves on 44 shots.
