The Pittsburgh Vengeance are proud to announce that defenseman Martino Picariello has committed to play hockey this fall for the Mustangs of Stevenson University. Picariello had a unfortunate start to his Vengeance career as he suffered a knee injury in his first game in a Pittsburgh uniform. This didn't hold the 5'9" Philadelphia product back for long as he became a significant part in Pittsburgh's run to the East Final that saw the Vengeance come up one game short of a Silver Cup berth.
"Pic's first came back was game one of the East Finals. He scored two huge goals for us, including the game tying goal with under 5 seconds to play," said Coach Dorsey. "He's a mobile defenseman that plays bigger than his size and will be a great asset to the Stevenson program."
