Phenow nets hat trick, leads Granite City to 7-0 win over Minnesota

A hat trick by Blake Phenow was the highlight in Lumberjacks\’ 7-0 win against the Minnesota Flying Aces.

Phenow\’s first goal came 19:59 into the first period. He then added goals at 18:49 into the second and at 17:12 into the third.

Kendall Meyer spearheaded the defensive effort for the Granite City Lumberjacks, as he did not allow a puck past him and made 26 saves for the shutout.

Granite City racked up the penalties in the contest, and ended with seven minors and one major for 39 minutes in penalty time.
