Peoria falls to Chicago in overtime, 5-4 (OT)

The Chicago Junior Bulldogs\’ Scott Coash Jr scored 1:26 into overtime to beat the Peoria Mustangs, 5-4 (OT).

Chicago overcame a two-goal deficit to capture the victory. The Junior Bulldogs trailed 4-2 after a goal by Peoria\’s Andrew Scofield at 19:08 in the second period. Chicago tied things up at 4-4 on a goal by Niko Moulakelis at 19:18 in the third period.

The Junior Bulldogs were led by Coash Jr, who had one goal.

Chicago stifled the Mustangs\’ power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Junior Bulldogs\’ offense rang up 31 shots on Peoria\’s net. Chicago got an offensive boost from its blueliners, who contributed two goals during the game.
