Peoria falls to Chicago in overtime, 5-4 (OT)

The Chicago Junior Bulldogs\’ Scott Coash Jr scored 1:26 into overtime to beat the Peoria Mustangs, 5-4 (OT).

Chicago overcame a two-goal deficit to capture the victory. The Junior Bulldogs trailed 4-2 after a goal by Peoria\’s Andrew Scofield at 19:08 in the second period. Chicago tied things up at 4-4 on a goal by Niko Moulakelis at 19:18 in the third period.

The Junior Bulldogs were led by Coash Jr, who had one goal.

Chicago stifled the Mustangs\’ power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Junior Bulldogs\’ offense rang up 31 shots on Peoria\’s net. Chicago got an offensive boost from its blueliners, who contributed two goals during the game.

Chicago also got points from Matt Blaszkiewicz, who also racked up one goal and one assist, Matthew Adams, who also registered one goal and one assist, and Moulakelis, who also had one goal and one assist to lead the team in points.
