National Junior Prospects Hockey League Director Bob Black returned Saturday after spending a good part of the week at the 2011 USA Hockey Annual Congress meetings. "The meetings were especially interesting this year with all of the changes going on for the better in USA Hockey." states Bob
The most notable changes are taking place with the Youth Council working hand in hand with the Junior Council to make the complex Junior landscape more logical for players to choose from. Starting in the 2012-2013 hockey season, there will be Tier I and Tier II , Junior A, and Tier III Juniors. Also, Junior Hockey will be made up primarily of ages 16-20. Age 15 will only be aloud to participate by application approval only.
