Jr B Pens SWEEP Bulldogs

Pittsburgh Jr Penguins 7 – Brewster Bulldogs 4

Brian and 'The boys' took their show on the road again this past weekend for a rematch with the Brewster Bulldogs.  The Bulldogs desperately wanted revenge from two early season lop-sided losses given to them by your Junior Penguins.

It looked as if the Bulldogs were going to get the revenge that they wanted when just 46 seconds into opening period; Branchflower (unassisted) rifled a shot past Penguin net minder Allen.

At the 13:51 mark of the first, Berardinelli got the Penguins on the board by taking a 'text book' feed from Passaro and 'hammering' through Brewster goalie, Burdekin.

Period two started off like it usually does for the young Penguin squad… They score and score often!  It was all Penguins with tallies from Brett, Hovanec and Owens.

Brewster started the third with a change in net as Alidadi replaced Burdekin.  The change seemed to help their cause as Leveille (from Garro) found the back of Allen's cage (5:01).

Berardinelli (from Hovanec and Owens), answered (7:12), putting another tally by the Bulldogs new goalie, Alidadi.  And, at the 9:55 mark, Straub fired a 'wicked slapshot' (from Pawlowski) past the glove of Alidadi.

One minute 49 seconds later, Brewster’s McClean (from Garro) managed to get one past the nimble Allen.

The Penguins McNulty (from Straub), closed out the Penguins scoring for the night at the 14:26 mark of the third.

Not to be outdone, Brewster’s Leveille (from Hennings and Creazzo), found the back of the Penguins net with just one minute and forty-eight seconds to go in the game.
