Jr A Pens Split with Chicago Force

The Junior A Pens had a week off from the CSHL schedule and it showed has they were handily defeated by the Chicago Force 7-5 in Saturday night\’s game.  \” They were more aggressive and wanted it more than us.  They did a real good job of getting pucks to the net and winning the battles for loose pucks.  We did not show up to play mentally or physically.  I take full responsibility for that because we were not prepared to play from the drop of the puck, \” said Coach Dorsey.

The Junior A Penguins came back on Sunday with a much better effort and defeated the Force 6-1.  \” I thought we played better, but not to the level we are capable of playing.  We play good in spurts and that is not going to get it done.  Defensively we are awful right now and are in real trouble if we do not correct it soon, \” said Coach Dorsey.

The Junior A Penguins go on the road this weekend to play the Queen City Steam.
