Cincinnati falls to Pittsburgh in overtime, 2-1 (OT)

The Pittsburgh Vengeance pulled out a 2-1 (OT) overtime victory over the Cincinnati Swords on a clutch goal by Eli Lynn.

Pittsburgh was led by Lynn, who grabbed one goal. Lynn scored 3:11 into overtime to make the score 2-1 Pittsburgh. Tyler Speis assisted on the tally.

The Vengeance\’s offense rang up 47 shots on Cincinnati\’s net.

Bryan Hovanec also scored for Pittsburgh. Other players who recorded assists for Pittsburgh were Parker Henry, who had one and Adem Arifi, who had two.

The Swords were led by Hunter Schneider, who scored the team\’s only goal. Schneider scored 3:50 into the second period to make the score 1-1. Sid Quincy provided the assist.

Pittsburgh\’s Kyle Plantz stopped 14 shots out of the 15 that he faced. The Vengeance incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. James Schroeder recorded 45 saves for Cincinnati. The Swords incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
