Alpha Ice Complex is Pittsburgh's premier year round ice skating destination.

Bladerunner's Harmarville was opened in 1992 and was the first twin-ice facility in Pittsburgh.

In September 2003, a third rink was added to the Harmarville location.  The new rink has seating on both sides of the arena and is one of the largest hockey venues in Western Pennsylvania. This multi-purpose facility offers ice activities in the winter and in-line activities in the summer.

We have hosted several national competitions in both hockey, in-line,  and figure skating since 1992.  In 2005, the Harmarville location will be hosting the ACHA Division III Men's National Hockey Championships and the USA in-line Girl's 16 and under national team try-outs.

In 2015, an investment group led by Vengeance owner Glen Miske purchased the Bladerunners Harmar location and renamed it the Alpha Ice Complex. Alpha Ice looks forward to serving the Pittsburgh hockey and figure skating community for many years to come.
